nLite

nLite is an application program that allows you to customize your XP installation

disc by integrating the RAID/AHCI drivers into the disc. By using nLite, the F6

function key usually required during installation is no longer needed.

Note:

The installation steps below are based on nLite v

ersion 1.4.9. Installa-

tion procedures may slightly vary if you’re using another version of the

program.

1. Download the program from nLite’s ofﬁ cal

website.

2. Install nLite.

Important:

Due to it

’s coding with Visual.Net, you may need to ﬁ rst install .NET

Framework prior to installing nLite.

3. Download relevant RAID/AHCI driver ﬁ

les from Intel’s website. The drivers

you choose will depend on the operating system and chipset used by your

computer.

The downloaded driver ﬁ les

should include iaahci.cat,

iaAHCI.inf, iastor.cat, iaStor.

inf, IaStor.sys, license.txt

and TXTSETUP.OEM.
